Original watercolor and gouache painting. It has one of my favourite themes, orchids and a hummingbird, chinoiserie-style, in a lovely palette of pastel blue and ochre background, making a fabulous and very distict color combination. I have painted it using high quality professional colors (Winsor & Newton, Sennelier, Talens and Fine Tec) on fine art bamboo mixed media heavyweight paper (265 gm/ 125lbs/ 90% bamboo fibre – 10% cotton rag).
