I have painted one of my favourite themes, a pink orchid and butterflies, chinoiserie-style, in a beautiful peachy-pink background, making a fabulous and very distict color combination. I am really happy with how that colors have turned out, the background hue is so alive and fresh. I have painted it using high quality professional colors (Winsor & Newton, Sennelier, Talens and Fine Tec) on fine art bamboo mixed media heavyweight paper (300 gm/ 140lbs/ extra white, 100% cotton, grana fina cold-pressed).
