Description This beautiful antique Korean blanket/bandaji chest was handmade circa early 1800s during the Korean Joseon Dynasty. It features hand-forged iron hardware, hand-riveted fasteners, and a drop front door which was used to store clothing, documents and valuables, and bedding on top. It also features a lock and key. Relative to its size, it would exude a strong presence and add character to any room that it’s set in. CONDITION NOTES: Condition appropriate for age.Solid. Original iron hardware.
