The blades of epee and foil are made using a unique technology that has no analogues in world practice. The technology includes cold rolling and subsequent heat treatment, performed according to strictly regulated modes. Cold rolling of blade blanks is carried out to the final dimensions with high precision and purity. No further mechanical and finishing work is required. As a result of the use of such technology, the following results are achieved: The mechanical properties of the blades are improved, in particular the elastic properties and cyclic durability. The blades retain their straightness for almost the entire period of their use, and the cyclic durability is 1.5-2.0 times higher than the FIE requirements. Made in Russia stiff blades. (D)
